How to block updates notification ? [Updated 28/09/2016]
Add the following lines to hosts file
127.0.0.1 updates.connectify.me
127.0.0.1 activate.connectify.me
127.0.0.1 d1.connectify.me
127.0.0.1 d2.connectify.me
127.0.0.2 d3.connectify.me
127.0.0.1 d.connectify.me
127.0.0.2 b.connectify.me
127.0.0.2 bc.connectify.me
127.0.0.2 data.connectify.me
127.0.0.2 news.connectify.me
127.0.0.1 downloads2.connectify.me
127.0.0.1 downloads.connectify.me
PS : You must check 'Read-Only' box in hosts file proprietes.
Getting 'Error during driver install' ?
Before launching the setup please follow the stpes to avoid getting this error :
First, run 'DriverInstallPermissionsFix.bat' as administrator. (It's included with the patch file) You should probably get this
Second,
1. Push Windows Button and 'R' at the same time to get this at the buttom of your screen
2. So as you can see, type 'services.msc' and hit enter
3. Search for Windows Installer and click on start as you can see from the screenshot
And that's it. If you're still getting this error please leave a comment describing your problem
